Serve at CBC

Greeters provide a warm hearty welcome as a guest or regular attendee enters the entrances and worship areas of City Bible Church

Time Commitment:
Sundays 20 minutes before service and 10 minutes after, every other week, once a month, or as needed.

Maintain a clean “fresh” environment at CBC. The cleaning responsibilities are split up between multiple team members to have the church look its best for Sunday service each week.

Time Commitment:
1-2 hours per week, or as needed

This team helps plan, set up and clean up from meals and/or events that involve food.

TIME COMMITMENT:
As need basis for church events, funerals, etc.

NURSERY (0-2 Years)
Volunteers provide a safe, secure, nurturing, clean, and Christ-centered environment for all children in their care.

Time commitment: Sunday and/or (Wednesday when small groups are happening), every other week, or once a month. Arrive 30 minutes before service and 10 minutes after for cleaning and straightening.

CITY KIDS (PreK- 4th Grade)
Volunteers serve as teachers in small groups, assist with lesson activities, and crafts. They also monitor child behavior before and after service, and assist during whole group instruction and help with check-in and check-out procedures.

Time commitment: Sunday and/or (Wednesday when small groups are happening), every other week, or once a month. Arrive 30 minutes before service and 10 minutes after for cleaning and straightening.

City Youth (5-8th & 9-12th grade)
Help work alongside middle school on Sundays and high school leaders on Wednesday evenings with games, lessons, etc.

Time commitment: Sunday mornings (5-8th) from 10:30-11:30 and Wednesday nights (9-12th) from 6:15-7:30 pm, every week, every other week, or once a month.

*Musicians and vocalists must complete the following before sending their audition.*
1) You’ve been attending faithfully at CBC for 3+ months.
2) You’ve attended and completed City Bible 101 Class.
3) You are a member of the church. 

MUSICIANS
We are seeking individuals who can play keys, drums, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass guitar and be able to play skillfully, use smooth transitions, keep good timing and be willing to play with a click track.

VOCALISTS
We are seeking individuals who can sing lead and/or backup vocals who are skillful, stay on pitch, and provide good timing. All vocalists must be willing to sing with a click track.

Time Commitment:
Wednesday night rehearsal, Sundays 9:00-11:45 am, every other week, once a month, or as needed.

*Training will be provided for all positions within production. No experience necessary*

CAMERA OPERATOR
Efficiently operate a camera with smooth, distracting-free movements and provide good composition framing and focus for each camera shot. All camera operators will take direction through a radio headset from the switcher operator.

Time Commitment:
Sundays, every other week, once a month, or as needed.

LIVESTREAM SWITCHER OPERATOR
Create a distracting free representation of our in-person service for online viewers. Communicate with camera operators to provide visually pleasing camera angles for the Livestream and switch between cameras.

Time Commitment: Sundays, every other week, once a month, or as needed.

SOUNDBOARD OPERATOR
Adjust audio levels to provide a well-balanced sound for in-house and live stream worship. Troubleshoot problems that may arise during rehearsals and Sundays.

Time Commitment:
Sunday 9:00-11:45 am, every other week, once a month, or as needed.

LYRICS OPERATOR
Run lyrics software Propresenter 7 and follow and keep lyrics and graphics on-screen in a timely manner for worship and sermons.

Time Commitment:
Wednesday night rehearsal, Sunday run-thru, and Sunday service 9:00-11:45 am, every other week, once a month, or as needed.
