What type of home repair do you offer?

We offer basic home repair assistance. Some examples are:

  • Fixing gates
  • Plumbing
  • Electrical
  • Painting
  • Yard work
How much will it cost?

Home repair assistance can vary per project. Any project $100 or less will be covered by City Bible Church. If you have a project that will be more than $100, we ask that you pay for the materials needed and our volunteers will offer their time for free.

If you’re not sure how much a project will be, please contact us. Someone will be in touch to come inspect your repairs and get an estimate for material cost.

How far will you travel to help fix my home?

Our repair team will provide assistance within a 50 mile radius from Parkersburg, West Virginia.

Do you offer large project construction services?

Our volunteers do not take on big construction jobs that require a lot of time or expertise. However, they are able to handle most common home repair needs with ease. This group of volunteers is dedicated to helping those with basic home repairs that can be done in just a few hours.

Unlike larger construction projects, the Home Repair Ministry focuses on smaller, more manageable tasks. This allows them to help more people and complete projects in a timely manner. Some of the typical jobs they take on include fixing leaky faucets, repairing damaged drywall, and replacing light fixtures. They may also do simple carpentry work, such as building a shelf or repairing a fence.
